My family and I have visited Montestigliano for seven years. A place in the heart of Tuscany-Italy.

Full of memories - golden evenings, good Italian food, and time well spent with friends and family. In July 2023, I brought a simple gift to thank the Montestigliano family: a set of wooden chopping boards I had engraved myself with their Montestigliano branding. At the time, laser engraving was just a new hobby I’d picked up.

To my surprise, guests loved them. Some even asked how they could get the products for back home and whether they were for sale.

That small gesture planted the seed for what would eventually become my brand - Timber Engraves. I spent the next 18 months pouring everything into it: learning, designing, and investing thousands into the business. After a year, I risked it all and invested in my first batch of 500 boards and 500 coasters. In July 2024, I returned to Montestigliano and asked if we could turn the idea of the villas holding the products into a reality.
They said yes.

From there, it became a true collaboration - three months of emails, calls, and design tweaks with the Montestigliano family and Francesco as Montestigliano's front of house. Together, we created the Montestigliano collection.

These are more than just products. They’re memories - engraved.

Each villa now features its own unique design - from Casa Luisa to Villa Pipistrelli. Starting June 1st 2025, the full product collection will be on show with the weekly meal nights in the Montestigliano square every Tuesday and Thursday along with them being featured on event nights and in the main office on display.

For returning guests, this collection is a way to take a piece of that Tuscan magic home. For new customers, it’s the origin story of Timber Engraves - a journey that began with one gift and grew into a brand.
